MANILA, Philippines -- Impressed by the tremendous amount of fan support Miguel Cotto generated in his welterweight fight yesterday, Manny Pacquiao has given promoter Bob Arum the go signal to arrange a fight between the two stars.

"Manny told me what to do. Manny told me 'Go ahead, make that fight.' So it will go Nov. 14 at the MGM Grand here in (Las) Vegas," Arum told Marley. "He (Pacquiao) was impressed by Cotto's fan support and told me it reminded him of how the British fans stand with Ricky Hatton."

Mayweather is originally slated to face Marquez on July 18. With the injury, however, their fight is reportedly being rescheduled to September 19 -- making a Pacquiao-Mayweather bout unlikely to happen within the year.

Paris Hilton and Cristiano Ronaldo Snapped Making Out at MyHouse

Newly single Paris Hilton was photographed making out with soccer stud Cristiano Ronaldo on Wednesday night, June 10, the same day she had her representative publicly announcing her separation from baseball player boyfriend Doug Reinhardt. It is not known if Paris and Cristiano are dating, but they were seen getting up close and personal at swanky L.A. nightclub MyHouse.

Paris and Cristiano actually started off their night separately. The celebrity socialite was seen hitting Nobu West Hollywood with her sister Nicky Hilton for some sushi, whereas Cristiano kicked off his night dining at the Brazilian restaurant Fogo De Chao. "The Hilton sisters showed up at about 10:20 P.M. and sat on the outside patio. Paris wasn't her usual chipper, chatty self - she looked absolutely miserable. She was clearly flying under the radar with her sister last night. She had a couple of cocktails and she was fiddling with her phone throughout the entire meal," sources in the know tell X17 Online.

Paris and Nicky reportedly left the eatery at around 11:20 P.M. and then headed to club MyHouse, where Cristiano was also hanging out. There, the threesome sat together at a table. And sources inside the club claim that Cristiano and Paris were getting cozy and kissing the entire night. TMZ has some photos of them making out.

Later that night, Paris and Cristiano left the hot spot separately, but reunited at Nicky's West Hollywood house. He was caught on camera leaving the building at 5 A.M.

Faber vs Brown II sure to provide a weekend MMA fix

Faber vs Brown II

One week before the Ultimate Fighting Championship lands in Germany for UFC 99, there's a mixed martial arts battle occurring back in the USA that may not be as significant, but will surely be every bit as exciting as Franklin vs Silva.

WEC's Faber vs Brown II is a rematch from the November match in which Faber, the charismatic champion, was viciously TKO'd by Brown, the no-frills fighter training out of American Top Team. To say it was an upset was an understatement, since Faber hadn't been beaten in three years, with even that loss being at the hands of the much larger Tyson Griffin. Brown may have been 19-4, but Faber, having just beaten Jens Pulver, was considered one of the best 145lb fighters on the planet.

Brown - a state champion wrestler in his youth - goes into Sunday's bout with a natural size advantage, given that he cuts from over 160lbs to make 145. But Faber has home-town advantage given that the bout is being held in his home city of Sacremento, California.

If Faber is to reclaim his title, he can't afford the reckless abandon that his made him a favourite among hardcore MMA fans. In the first match-up, he threw a wild Anderson Silva-esque side elbow at Brown, who countered against his unprotected opponent with a huge right hand that virtually finished the fight. Faber will need to be smarter this time around, and use his speed to be elusive and pick up points - watching tapes of the recent Rashad Evans vs Lyoto Machida bout should help.

But with power, wrestling ability, and punching power on his side, it's difficult to look past the champion on Sunday.

But whatever happens, it should be an explosive affair.
