GMA 7 announced that the daughter of former actor Rey PJ Abellana will be the one to act as Rosalinda. Carla Abellana will be the one to portray the role of Rosalinda. Carla is the 20-year-old daughter of the 80’s heartthrob Rey “PJ” Abellana.

"I feel so happy now, kasi heto na 'yon. I can't believe na magi-i-start na kami. Para pa rin akong nananaginip," sambit ni Carla nang makausap siya ng PEP at iba pang entertainment press.

And this is what she said about working with her leading man Geoff: "I am looking forward to get to know him more. Dito nga sa story conference ko nakilala nang husto si Geoff. I heard a lot of good things about him kaya excited ako to work with him."
